Choose the right service scope
| Model | Your starting point | Typical project deliverable |
|---|---|---|
| OEM | You own a reviewed formula and specification. | Manufacturing feasibility, agreed production controls and batch documentation. |
| ODM | You bring the brand brief and product objective. | Formulation direction, prototypes, sensory work and an agreed technical specification. |
| CRO | You need a defined research or testing question answered. | A written protocol, agreed methods and a report within a contracted research scope. |
| CDMO | You need coordinated development and transfer. | Stage-gated development, process transfer, packaging handover and release responsibilities. |
A controlled development path
A useful private-label recovery pouch programme makes approval decisions visible. Start with a brief and feasibility review, compare prototypes, agree the test plan, lock the specification, approve artwork, execute production controls and complete the export handover. A sample version should never silently become a production specification.
- Define formula ownership and confidentiality before sharing proprietary information.
- Record ingredient source, grade, form and supplier documents.
- Separate a sensory prototype from a stability-approved commercial sample.
- Approve test methods, acceptance limits and batch disposition responsibility.
- Use documented change control for ingredient, paper, flavor and packaging changes.
MOQ, capacity and lead time
There is no universal MOQ or production date on this site. Tooling, packaging components, ingredient availability, review work and tests affect the quotation. For a meaningful production discussion, send expected annual demand, trial scale, target launch date and the markets you intend to serve. Capacity and delivery commitments belong in a written project agreement, not an assumed website statistic.
Samples and project evidence
The sample programme starts with an agreed deliverable and evaluation criteria. Fees, shipping, iteration count and timing are quoted for the actual brief. Request the original facility and technical documents relevant to your due-diligence scope, and confirm the production plan for your project.
