United States
Start with the actual intended use and claims rather than assuming every oral pouch is a dietary supplement. FDA describes manufacturer and distributor responsibility for safety and labeling of dietary supplements. A facility registration or supplier document does not establish finished-product approval. Use qualified local review for the final formula, route and wording.
European Union
The European Commission describes harmonised rules for food supplements and permitted vitamin/mineral sources, alongside other applicable controls. A single ingredient name does not resolve national requirements, the status of other substances, novel-food questions or permitted claims. Specify the destination country and proposed use so the review is concrete.
Australia and New Zealand
Classification and market obligations depend on the product and its presentation. The Australian TGA’s listed-medicine pathway has its own requirements; it should not be assumed to apply to an unreviewed pouch brief. Obtain destination-specific advice and determine importer, sponsor, label and supporting-evidence responsibilities before commercial commitments.
